Vision of natural science
Natural science is a basic science providing modern people with essential knowledge and is an advanced science investigating natural principles and its applications. Accordingly, natural science with both characteristics of basics and advance sciences have played a major role in the development of the modern society and will evolve leading next-generation society in future.

Motto
Natural science provides students with specialized knowledge in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biological science to produce them as professional persons leading independent researches in natural science. Additionally, natural science provides students with educational programs training for analyzing schematically and generalizing natural phenomena and problems to educate a person with a future with rationality and logicality. Finally, natural science produces a cultured person with leadership and vision based on objective global outlook and values.

School of natural science, Sungkyunkwan university have education programs to train students with natural principles and practicality, based on person regulations by self-discipline as the sprit of university foundation, charity-justice-etiquette-wisdom as the university instruction, and educational goals of nature science.These programs provide students with balanced visions and an independent ability to think.
